About Us

Our facility is located in the province Ankara, Sincan district within the Başkent organized industrial site with the address Atatürk Bulvarı No: 34 on a total area of 16.200 m2 of which 8.500 m2 are closed.

Over the past 34 years, since its establishment, our company has, within its main activity field, been involved in 156 different projects throughout Turkey in the field of design, manufacture and erection of hydro-mechanical and permanent equipment within the scope of dam and hydroelectric power plants, regulator structures, irrigation systems constructions and has successfully completed its commitments in each project.

Sevinç Makina is continuing its design, manufacturing and installation activities with a total of 130 employees.


The total installed capacity of the completed Hydroelectric Power Plant Projects is 2,794 MW.

The annual production capacity of our facilities is 3,500 tons/year.

Our company, which was founded in 1985, has completed many projects in terms of design, manufacture and installation of hydro-mechanical and permanent equipment in the scope of construction of dams and hydroelectric power plants, regulator structures and irrigation systems in Turkey and internationally. With its professional staff and institutional, modern and dynamic structure, it has secured a place for itself in the sector.

Our goal is to complete the expectations of our customers at the highest level and to meet the conditions of market competition which are cost, quality, technology and speed in the context of all stages starting from design to installation and to be able to provide excellent service in every process.

OUR MILESTONES

  • 1985

    In 1985 the company started its activities in a 250 square meters big workshop within the Ankara Ostim Industrial Site, which was just developing. In the first years, besides the production of hydro-mechanical equipment, the company also manufactured spare parts for plants and machinery that are needed by the mining and cement sector.

  • 1987

    The sluice outlet valves, which were produced for the first time with domestic engineering, design, material and labor, were taken into operation and successfully delivered to the general directorate of state hydraulic works. Our company, which continued to advance from this opportunity, then successfully completed the manufacturing and erection works of many similar dams, hydro-mechanical and permanent equipment and took its place in the hydro-mechanical manufacturer company repertoire of the general directorate of state hydraulic works.

  • 2003

    Together with the enacted water usage law a door opened for the private sector due to the hydroelectric power plants, which are a renewable source of energy.

  • 2006

    With the aim of meeting the demands of the growing market, due to the intense interest of investors in the sector, the company acquired 5400 square meters of land in the Başkent organized industrial site and invested in a new factory with 3600 square meters closed space.

  • 2007

    As of March, our company has moved all activities from Ostim to its new factory and has started to work as one of the leading companies in this newly organized industrial zone in Ankara. The company Sevinç Engineering was established to carry out design and engineering activities.

  • 2008

    Our company which grew rapidly together with the sector, became a joint stock company in the process of management structuring. During this period of intensive work, many investors in every region of Turkey have successfully served as a subcontractors for hydro-mechanical equipment from design to installation.

  • 2009

    Our company continued to invest due to the gained success, bought the adjacent 11.000 square meter big land and started to construct an additional factory building.

  • 2011

    As of July, our new factory with 5.500 square meters closed area started with its activities. Besides of factory and plant constructions, a lot of machine and equipment investments were carried out and the ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 quality management systems were received.

  • 2012

    Continuing to produce as a country economy, the company became a sector leader on the basis of the completed and executed projects in 2012.

  • 2013

    With the experience gained domestically, the company signed its first big international project contract in the year 2013.

  • 2014

    By starting its second international project the company expanded its power network.

  • 2015

    The company took part in the 'Nuc IndusTRY Domestic Contribution to the Nuclear Industry" project, which was carried out by the Ankara Chamber of Industry and supported by the Ministry of Economy.

  • 2016

    Successful activities in the foreign market all over the world have continued to grow and contributed to the development and industrialization efforts of Turkey.
